Someone's come up with a history of one Judas that matches up fairly well with the purported Jesus story. The source is a "Slavonic Josephus."
I'm not enough of an expert to say if this discussion is legit; for all we know, the copy of Josephus on which this is based could be completely fake. But for better or worse, here's the link.
