The Forged Origins of The New Testament

What the Church doesn't want you to know

Amazing... an Australian author named Tony Bushby has compiled a very interesting account about the history of the Bible. I'm not qualified to judge its veracity, but if true, it tells us that the New Testament was invented almost completely at the Council of Nicaea, patched together from current religious myths. Even the name of Jesus Christ was invented at that time, from names of a British and a Greek deity.

This story received lots more editing up until 1200-something, at which point a Pope declared that "we will rewrite the history of our Church here." There's an awesome history of forgery, patchwork and redaction here.

Enough of my amateurish recapitulation! Here's Bushby's original text.

Newsflash: The story is FUD. It's a conspiracy theory by a nut. Oh well!
